Adam Reeves is a seasoned professional with nearly four decades of experience in the South African financial investment industry specialising in Structured Investments, Asset Management, Derivatives and Investment Analysis. Renowned for his deep market knowledge and strategic insight, Adam currently serves as Chairperson of the South African Institute of Financial Markets, where he has contributed as a Director for over 20 years.
His longstanding commitment to the industry reflects his dedication to promoting integrity, innovation, and best practices within financial markets.
Throughout his career, Adam has held directorial roles at two prominent stock broking firms and an investment structuring company. His expertise spans equity, bond, and foreign exchange markets, and he has been at the forefront of derivatives trading since their inception in South Africa in the late 1980s. He has also spent six years working for a South African Asset Manager using innovative investment methods to track mainstream and bespoke benchmarks.
Adam’s hands-on involvement in the development and implementation of complex structured transactions has supported a diverse array of clients, including asset managers, pension funds, life insurers, and collective investment schemes.
Currently, Adam is a Senior Investment Analyst in the Index and Structured Solutions team at Absa Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB). In this capacity, he leverages his extensive market experience to design innovative investment products and deliver tailored solutions to institutional and retail clients

Luvhani Makhoni, CFA, Lead Specialist Investment Proposition, Standard Bank Group
Luvhani Makoni began her career at Liberty Investments where she focused on the retail client segment and built a strong foundation in investment solutions and client engagement. Over the years she has held several key roles across the business, including Technical Marketing, Reporting in addition to serving as Business Manager to the Group Investment Proposition Executive, all roles that have shaped her deep understanding of investment strategy, product development and execution.
Luvhani currently leads the development of investment propositions within Standard Bank’s Investment & Asset Management business, with a particular focus on structured solutions and initiatives aimed at the younger market segment. She brings over 11 years of experience in the financial services industry and is a CFA Charterholder, combining technical expertise with a strong commercial, adviser and client-centric mindset.

Kevin Swartz is the Head of Distribution for Index and Structured Solutions at Absa Group.
Based in Johannesburg, where he leads the commercialisation and growth of structured products across institutional, wealth, and intermediary channels.
With over 15 years’ experience in global markets and structured trade origination, Kevin specialises in the design, structuring, and distribution of derivative-based investment solutions, including structured notes, total return swaps, margin lending frameworks, and fund-linked solutions.
He has a strong track record in building scalable distribution platforms, aligning front-office structuring with legal, risk, and regulatory requirements, and delivering capital-efficient solutions tailored to both balance sheet and client portfolio objectives.
Prior to his current role, Kevin held senior positions in structured products and retail distribution, where he developed multi-channel strategies spanning private banks, asset managers, and IFAs, with a focus on unlocking new revenue pools and optimising product penetration.
Kevin is particularly focused on innovation within structured solutions, including automation of term sheet generation, next-generation retail distribution models, and the evolution of structured products into a scalable, technology-enabled sales and structuring ecosystem.

Palesa Dube CFP® FPSA® is the Founder and Director of Centillion Wealth Advisory and a financial planning professional with more than 22 years of experience in the financial services industry.
She advises HNW professionals and business owners on a broad range of wealth management matters, helping clients build, preserve and transfer wealth across generations. Her work also extends to advising corporate clients.
Her areas of expertise include investment and retirement planning, estate and legacy planning, risk management, fiduciary services, employee benefits and business succession planning. She has worked with a diverse range of clients in South Africa and internationally, providing holistic and practical financial planning solutions tailored to their needs.
Palesa holds a BCom in Investment Management from the University of Johannesburg, a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning and an Advanced Diploma in Estate and Trust Administration from the University of the Free State. She is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and a Fiduciary Practitioner of South Africa®.
In 2022, she was awarded the Financial Planning Institute of Southern Africa’s Financial Planner of the Year Award, recognising her contribution to the profession and commitment to delivering high-quality financial advice.
